Chelly's Morning Routine

As a busy mom, I have found my morning routine has simplified over the last year. Here’s a rundown of what I am currently loving and how a typical morning works.

6am – well usually 5:30 (yes my 10 month old is an EARLY BIRD!) up and at it! Coffee with almond milk and a quick Vitamix smoothie —think hemp, keifer, chia, blueberry, spinach yumminess— help me wake up and start my day with some quick superfoods, protein and antioxidants.

7:30am – quick shower while Everly takes her first nap.  Yes folks, she wakes up so early that she takes her first nap around 7am!

I am loving Zoe Organics Bath Wash. It smells good and is a great all over soap. I use Astara’s Botanical Cleansing Gele on my face night and morning. I love that it is a gentle yet effective cleanser and my skin is DRY in the winter so gentle is very key for me. A few times a week (when time allows, really) I use Astara’s Daily Refining Scrub. Not only does it smell amazing and lift my mood, but it makes my skin feel fresh, smooth and rejuvinated.

As soon as I get out of the shower I reach for my One Love Organics Waterless Beauty Balm.  I live in the Arizona mountians. We have a really dry winter climate and my skin really dislikes winter.  This stuff has literally transformed my skin from being dry and event itchy patches to being supple and moisturized.  I SWEAR by it!  Plus, it has so many uses and smells AMAZING.  Cannot say enough about it!

My daytime eye treatment is Astara’s Botanical Eye. It is light and goes under makeup well (when I wear it).  Lastly I add a tinted BB cream with SPF like Coola MineralFace SPF 30 and maybe a touch of mascara.  I have a tube of this stuff in my purse, makeup bag, bathroom and night stand because I can’t live without it!

8:30am – Everly is usually up and ready to roll.  I use Zoe Organics Diaper Balm on her daily.  I love how it keeps her clear of any diaper rash or irritation and I feel so good knowing it is clean and effective.

8:45am – out the door to start our day!
